Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• NYS licensure required.
• CCC-SLP certification (ASHA) required or equivalent.
• BLS-CPR certification required by time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment of swallowing, feeding, speech, language, and cognitive disorders.
• Care for inpatients with diagnoses including stroke, head trauma, head and neck cancer, chronic airway disorders.
• Collaborate with other health care providers and families.
• Prepare and maintain patient care documentation in a timely manner.
