Job summary

Thisiscny invites a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Weekend coverage in the PM&R - Rehab Therapies department in Syracuse, NY. The role involves direct patient care across swallowing, speech, language and cognitive disorders, spanning inpatient and medically based settings for patients from pediatric to geriatric ages.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, clinical certification, and BLS-CPR by appointment time.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care incl. assessment and treatment of swallowing, feeding, speech, language and cognitive disorders.
• Medically based practice; pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with other health care providers and families.
• Prepare and maintain patient care documentation in a timely manner.
• Attend clinics, rounds and conferences.
• Participate in staff education and training.
• Serve as clinical instructor for students.
• Facilitate new program development.

Responsibilities

Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
