Job summary

Nordik Spa-Nature Chelsea is seeking a part-time Server to welcome guests, take orders and serve with courtesy in a lively, high-performance environment.

You will greet guests, present menus, make beverage recommendations and ensure smooth service while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards. The role requires at least one year in food service, a relevant diploma is a plus, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in food service.
• Diploma in restaurant, hotel or service industry (asset).
• Knowledge of wines and menus (asset).
• Proficiency with restaurant software (asset).
• Ability to stand for long hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and listening to customer needs.
• Good team spirit and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present the menu, make suggestions and answer questions.
• Advise guests while making additional sales.
• Prepare and serve beverages, liquor and wine.
• Collect payment and record sales.
• Maintain and control inventory.
• Perform service according to the rules of the trade and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Get to know the tastes of regular guests to tailor service.
• Ensure readiness for the next shift.
• Perform closing duties (tidying up, cleaning, garbage, etc.).
• Maintain hygiene standards and salubriousness.
• Carry out any other related task.
