Job summary

Nordik Spa Village Chelsea is seeking a Bussboy/Bussgirl to join our dining room team. Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, you will greet guests, help seat them, present menus, and assist wait staff to ensure smooth service.

This part-time role requires good teamwork, ability to work long hours on your feet, and a positive customer service attitude. MAPAQ hygiene certification is an asset and you will contribute to a clean, welcoming dining experience.

• Relevant experience in customer service and/or food service.
• Good team spirit.
• Multidisciplinarity is essential.

• Resourcefulness, autonomy; Attention to detail.
• Able to work long hours on your feet.
• MAPAQ hygiene certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the restaurant and assist them in assigning a table according to their needs and requests;
• Assign tables in rotation through the different sections;
• Present menus to guests by giving general information and answering questions;
• Know the products / different menus (alcohol, food, etc.);
• Knowing the different seating plans, table numbers, different sections;
• Make rounds to refresh water glasses, clear empty tables or plates when guests have finished their meal;
• Clean and set tables with dishes, utensils and glasses for future guests;
• Ensure good communication with the servers to maintain excellent quality and service;
• Participate in cleaning the premises and maintaining the order and cleanliness of the restaurant and the service area by respecting the standards of hygiene and healthiness of the MAPAQ.
