Job summary

Woodgreen Enterprises Limited is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Kettering to lead a busy charity shop. In this role you will help maintain shop standards, recruit and develop volunteers, manage stock from donations and ensure cash handling compliance.

You will be a brand ambassador in the local community and support the Shop Manager in day-to-day operations. This part-time position requires strong supervisory experience, a customer focus and a practical, adaptable attitude to drive shop

Responsibilities

• Maintain continual high standards of shop presentation, back of house operations and customer service.
• Present and maintain the highest standards of shop and window merchandising and visual layout.
• Recruit, train, motivate, manage and support the creation and development of a loyal and engaged team of volunteers.
• Ensure maximum stock availability through processing of donations in the shop.
• Be responsible for compliance, record keeping and cash handling.
• Be a brand ambassador for Woodgreen to work with the local community to raise awareness and engagement for our cause.
