WEEKEND ONLY FRIDAY-SUNDAY 6a-6p.

Essential Functions
  1. Unload trucks using a scanner or pick list generated by Supervisor/Manager.
  2. Perform all computer functions necessary to complete job.
  3. Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with department leader to rectify damages and shortages – specifically relating to glass.
  4. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department leader.
  5. Maintain production lines stocked with glass according to schedule.
  6. Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly; follow prescribed safety regulations.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours

This is a full-time position with hours determined by production schedules and your reporting manager.

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of factory-related experience in shipping
