Job summary

Four Seasons is seeking a Weekend Support RN to provide nursing coverage for Buncombe County and surrounding areas. The role includes after-hours symptom management and admissions support, working with a clinical team leader and coordinating with other providers to ensure quality hospice care.

The position requires an active NC RN license, two years of clinical experience preferred, and a commitment to compassionate patient care within a salaried framework with weekend premium pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
• Excellent organization and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing coverage to patients and families via phone and in-person visits.
• Assist with admission to hospice services and coordinate care with case managers.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to develop patient-centered plans of care.
• Teach and supervise staff and promote safe, effective nursing practice.
