Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus business is at the core of Military and Commercial Engine applications production with the manufacture of Forgings for Disks and Airfoils, Machining and Finishing of Aircraft Hardware. The Supervisor, Quality Inspection - Weekend Shift will be responsible for ensuring Quality Compliance within Inspection Operations and meeting Customer Expectations through On-time Delivery while working to drive efficiency into the Quality Inspection Processes. Ensure the safety of the team by driving a safety-first culture. Enable the Inspection Team by providing training and development. Lead a team that is empowered to make decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives. Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to establish and implement improvements. Provide transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business objectives. Collaborate with the quality engineering and manufacturing engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities. Lead the working team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives. Be available for shift overlap

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
