Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in Pelzer, SC is seeking a Production Supervisor for the weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 am–6:00 pm). Lead weekend operations, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and provide day-to-day supervision to production staff.

You will coordinate staffing, manage workflow, reinforce standard work, drive continuous improvement, and report shift metrics while collaborating with engineering, quality, maintenance, safety, and HR.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing or similar operations.
• Proven ability to coach employees and manage safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety, OSHA, PPE, and incident reporting.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, drawings, SOPs, and quality docs.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work Fri-Sun 6:00 am–6:00 pm with possible overtime.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise weekend shift production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Staffing and workflow coordination across production areas; adjust allocations as needed.
• Enforce work instructions, blueprints, quality checkpoints, and SOPs.
• Lead daily shift Tier meetings to communicate targets and updates.
• Monitor performance, coach staff, and address attendance or conduct issues.
• Direct workflow across production areas; ensure materials and tools are available.
