Job summary

PepsiCo in York, PA is hiring a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. The role involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a high-energy environment with extreme temperatures and loud equipment.

You will work Tuesday through Saturday, from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, with full-time benefits. Proactive maintenance experience and ability to read electrical schematics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Willing and able to work in temperatures, humidity, hazards and loud equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work orders to support reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance to maximize equipment efficiency, safety, and reliability.
