Job summary

PepsiCo Dayville, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably. You will work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnose AC/DC electrical issues, and use preventative maintenance processes to support equipment reliability.

This full-time, second-shift role (4:00 pm–12:30 am, Tuesday–Saturday) requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in environments with extreme

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Able to lift 15–50 pounds
• Able to stand, walk and bend for long periods
• Willing to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
