Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Assembly Tech II (Wire Boards) for 1st shift in Greenwood, SC. The role pays $20.00 per hour and runs 5 am–3 pm Monday–Thursday, with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities include assembling, wiring, and modifying components per specifications, mounting electrical equipment, and maintaining quality checks. Strong teamwork and tool proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Use and knowledge of using hand and air tools.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC; active-duty military exempt from area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work per guidelines for high/medium voltage assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to Kanban and inspect assemblies for quality.
• Respond to change notices and development needs; assist engineering and supervision.
• Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge and skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
