Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Milford, IA is seeking a Production Technician to support welding, machine operation and material handling across multiple shifts.

You will work with little supervision on a cross‑functional team to keep safety, quality and productivity at the forefront. The role involves reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and training others on best practices while maintaining accurate documentation and following 5S principles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in welding, machine operation and material handling.
• Forklift operation or certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities to quality and productivity standards.
• Set up and operate lasers, press brakes and fabrication equipment.
• Read blueprints, work instructions and schedules.
• Operate forklifts and transport materials as needed.
• Support material flow and production setup across centers.
• Complete in-process quality inspections and fix issues with supervision as needed.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff on equipment and processes.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory and quality records.
• Participate in safety, 5S and continuous improvement efforts.
