Job summary

Freedom Village in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a weekend part-time driver in the Transportation department. You will provide transportation to residents and associates, assist with drops, and drive residents to malls, medical appointments, trips and churches.

The role requires a valid Class B commercial license with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record. Prior senior-care experience is a plus and safety rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class B commercial license with passenger endorsement.
• Previous experience working with seniors is a plus.
• Maintain a positive driving record and provide a current copy of the H6 printout from the DMV.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services to residents and associates.
• Assists with resident drop off/pick up at appointments and drives to nearby locations.
• Assists residents to and from vehicle and handles items safely.
• Follows safety transportation rules and communicates professionally with residents and staff.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and reports concerns to the Supervisor.
