Job summary

Oakmont of Santa Clarita, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Driver to safely operate community vehicles for outings and resident appointments. You will assist residents, ensure safety, and support activity setups in alignment with our values of authenticity, teamwork, compassion, commitment, and resilience.

The role requires a Class B or C license with Passenger Endorsement, 21+ age, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening, including TB tests.
• Health and safety requirements may include vaccination and PPE as per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and resident appointments.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
