Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Part-Time Security Supervisor for Sat-Sun 10am-6pm to help keep the ParkX Management property safe, orderly, and welcoming for residents, tenants, and guests. You will perform hourly patrols, manage access control, and enforce safety rules while coordinating with management.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, Virginia security officer certification, at least one year in customer service, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Virginia security officer certification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends, as needed.
• Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships.
• Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving, time management and communication skills.
• Must be credible, trustworthy and have high integrity.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Observation and reporting of safety.
• Issue Banning notices to rule violators.
• Maintain file for Ban Notices and notify management when necessary.
• Maintain appearance of plaza kiosks and enforce policies.
• Communicate rules and information to guests as needed.
• Report any unknown work to management.
• Notify Park X and property management if vehicles park illegally.
• Keep fire access areas accessible for emergency services.
• Close loading dock doors as needed.
• Assist marketing during events at Reston and Loudoun Station.
• Manage valet at Reston Station and ensure proper parking.
