Job summary

Allaire Rehab & Nursing is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. This role focuses on patrolling the premises, protecting staff and residents, and responding quickly to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities also include monitoring surveillance, controlling access, documenting incidents, and enforcing policies to deter threats. Two weekend shifts are available: Saturday and Sunday 8am–4pm and 4pm–12am, with additional weekday coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing the premises and personnel
• Monitoring surveillance equipment and alarms
• Responding to any emergencies or suspicious behavior
• Enforcing company policies and laws
• Controlling and verifying visitor and employee access
• Inspecting buildings and equipment
• Completing reports on observations and incidents
• Guarding valuables and detaining violators if necessary
