Job summary

Maximal Security Services is seeking a part-time security officer to maintain a safe environment at Union, NJ and Elizabeth, NJ locations. The role includes Saturday night and Sunday afternoon shifts, with a fixed weekend schedule and opportunity for extra shifts at other NJ locations based on performance.

You will patrol interior and exterior areas, verify identifications, respond to incidents, and complete DARs using the company app.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SORA license is required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to Union and Elizabeth locations.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Smartphone capable of running the patrol and reporting app.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening, if required.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized individuals.
• Control access and verify identification when required.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Complete required digital reports including patrol scans and DARs using the company app.
• Follow site-specific post orders and company policies.
• Notify management and emergency services when necessary.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
