Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for weekend part-time roles in Walton, KY. You will support clients across logistics sites by controlling access, patrolling the premises, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Training and growth opportunities are available with a flexible weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Unarmed roles require at least 18; armed roles 21+.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check may be required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors and employees per site policies and procedures.
• Control access at entry points by verifying IDs and credentials.
• Monitor traffic, document arrivals/departures, and report irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents following post orders and escalation steps.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking, loading zones, and perimeter.
