Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for weekend part-time roles in Walton, KY. You will support clients across logistics sites by controlling access, patrolling the premises, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors and employees per site policies and procedures.
• Control access at entry points by verifying IDs and credentials.
• Monitor traffic, document arrivals/departures, and report irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents following post orders and escalation steps.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking, loading zones, and perimeter.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Day Time

Sat07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, document arrivals and departures, and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
