Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flexible for a Walton, KY warehouse site. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with anchor scheduling and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings.

The pay rate is $15.95 per hour with day-time schedule options. This position supports a flexible, part-time pathway to potentially reach a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and maintaining entry/exit records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and irregular conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
