Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• One year of security experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living environment preferred.
• Must read, write, and comprehend English.
• Familiar with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Makes scheduled rounds inside and outside the building to maintain a secure environment for residents and property.
• Responds to fire alarms, apartment emergencies, and door checks.
• Develops good rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and staff to meet security needs.
• Assists with special security needs as they arise, involving employees and visitors.
• Provides written reports of incidents during the shift for leadership review.
• Delivers packages, newspapers, and essential items to residents.
