Timber Ridge at Talus in Issaquah, WA seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for residents and visitors. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a senior living environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Must be familiar with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff and property.
• Perform scheduled rounds inside and outside the building.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and door checks.
• Develop rapport with residents and staff to ensure security procedures meet needs of the facility.
• Assist with special security needs as they arise and coordinate with employees and visitors.
• Provide written incident reports to the Director of Plant Operations and staff as needed.
• Deliver packages, newspapers, and essential items to residents.
