Job summary

StoneRidge in Mystic, CT is seeking a Part-time Security Officer to oversee safety across the community. Shifts run weekends with varying hours, and additional shifts may be available including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in security preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff and property.
• Verifies the scheduled presence of employees and third-party contractors on the grounds.
• Responds to fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.
• Performs light maintenance tasks and keeps tools, equipment and supplies in good condition.
