Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Must be familiar with MS Office products.
• High school diploma or equivalent in training, education and experience, minimum one year experience in security preferred.
• Experience in a senior living environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes scheduled rounds to maintain a secure environment for residents and property.
• Responds to fire alarms, apartment emergencies, and door checks.
• Develops and maintains good rapport with residents, family, visitors and personnel.
• Assists with special security needs as they arise, involving employees and visitors.
• Provides written incident reports to the Director of Plant Operations and staff as needed.
• Delivers packages, newspapers, and essential items to residents.
