Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard for weekend patrol duties in Tempe, AZ. You will monitor a financial institution location, provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while following site procedures.

The role offers weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include 1 year of law enforcement or 3 years security experience, high school diploma, background check, and

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity at a financial institution location, following established entry, identification, and escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including customer areas, employee workspaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
