Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Weekends in Tempe, AZ. This part-time role offers fixed weekend shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts for extra hours. Pay rate is $20.26 per hour, with two weekend shifts and the potential to scale up to 40 hours per week.

The position emphasizes customer service, security procedures, and incident response at a financial services site. CPR/First Aid are preferred credentials, with background checks and drug screening as standard

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, deter unauthorized activity with a professional presence.
• Complete required reports, logs, and communications accurately and promptly per site requirements.
