Job summary

FCC Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Security Monitor for Saturday and Sunday shifts (12pm–12am) at SafeHaven in Kennett, MO. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, monitoring access, cameras, alarms, and responding to crises while upholding organizational standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a calm demeanor, and the ability to work evenings and weekends as part of the care team.

Qualifications

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Monitor all individuals who enter the facility and ensure that they sign in and out.
Monitor facility cameras, fire alarms, etc. to ensure all are working properly.
Be fully trained to respond to crisis and emergency situations.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss concerns regarding programs and person(s) served.
Serve as an appropriate role model for person(s) served.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of diagnostic criteria sets for substance use and/or mental disorders.
Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
