Job summary

Outagamie County is seeking a Scale Operations Technician for a Saturday shift. You will process customer transactions, coordinate shipments, monitor tipping fees, and maintain accurate records. The role requires cash handling, strong customer service, and comfort with computer software used at the scale.

Hours are Saturdays 6:30 am to 1:00 pm with a rotational schedule; position is non-benefit eligible and on-site within the County's Solid Waste operations.

Qualifications

• Graduated from high school or GED; accounting courses or related experience helpful.
• Experience handling cash and interacting with the public is preferred.
• Ability to learn scale software and operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions and coordinate shipping of recyclable materials.
• Monitor tipping fees, send invoices, and maintain records.
• Balance cash drawer and make daily deposits; provide directions to the public.
