Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC in Miami, FL seeks a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our Skilled Nursing facility team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, provide bedside therapies, and support geriatrics with pulmonary care.

The ideal candidate holds a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, is licensed as RRT or CRT in Florida, and has current BLS certification; background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing.
• BLS certification.
• Florida background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients with various illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform a variety of bedside treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosols, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, airway management, and pulmonary function testing.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff quarterly and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in caseload management.
