Job summary

Coral Reef Subacute Care Center in Miami, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT must hold a state license, evaluate and treat residents independently, and perform functional therapies to improve patient experience.

Responsibilities include initiating therapies, documenting progress, performing bedside treatments (oxygen, aerosols, chest physiotherapy, suction, airway management), and participating in IDT meetings. Prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, and operate equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments including oxygen, aerosols, PEP, deep breathing, chest physiotherapy.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend IDT meetings and assist with tracheotomy cases as needed.
