Job summary

The Woods at Sparta, part of Journey, is hiring a Weekend RN Unit Manager to provide weekend nursing leadership and support the care team on the floor in Sparta, GA. This role serves as the weekend supervisor and is ideal for an RN with charge nurse, supervisor, or unit management experience.

Qualifications

• RN with active license.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience; CPR certification.
• Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
