Journey's The Woods at Sparta in Sparta, GA, is seeking a Weekend RN Unit Manager to provide weekend nursing leadership and support the care team on the floor. This role functions as our weekend supervisor position and is a great fit for an RN with charge nurse, supervisor, or unit management experience.

Qualifications

Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
At least 1 year of nursing management experience and a current CPR certification.
Meets all state licensing requirements with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
