Job summary

The Woods at Sparta in Sparta, GA is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive pay.

Eligible team members can earn an additional $5/hr attendance bonus for working their scheduled shifts, plus weekly pay with DailyPay. We provide affordable insurance options, 401(k), telehealth, and a company cell phone for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the practicing state.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with your RN or LPN license, applicable scope of practice, current regulations, and facility policies and procedures.
• Direct and support certified nursing assistants and other assigned nursing personnel.
• Follow the nursing model to promote holistic, resident-focused care.
• Ensure assigned nursing personnel follow established policies and procedures.
• Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and complete assessments as permitted by licensure and scope of practice.
• Notify the physician, nursing leadership, and the resident’s family or representative of significant changes and document them appropriately.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders as permitted by licensure.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, CNAs, and other members of the care team.
