Job summary

NHS Management, LLC in Springdale, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to lead resident care on weekends and ensure compliance with care standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required with experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• At least two years of nursing experience and one year supervisory experience.
• Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately for purposes such as quality assurance and utilization review.
• Ability to organize and plan programs and manage personnel to provide nursing services for residents.
• Ability to plan and direct the department and coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct activities of subordinate nurses engaged in quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review.
• Receive physicians' instructions and ensure orders are transmitted to other units as needed.
• Oversee delegation of nursing and other therapeutic procedures to other professionals and staff.
• Make regular rounds to observe and assess residents’ conditions and document nursing observations.
