Job summary

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Weekend RN Supervisor. This role offers flexible weekend shifts of 8 or 12 hours to support resident care in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment.

As Weekend RN Supervisor you will provide clinical leadership, supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality care, and collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and families to maintain compliant, resident-centered

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license.
• Experience in SNF/LTC or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision for nursing staff during weekend shifts.
• Ensure high-quality nursing care and excellent resident outcomes.
• Support and assist nurses and CNAs throughout the shift.
• Respond to changes in resident condition and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and follow all facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Follow established procedures for medication management, incident reporting, physician communication, admissions, discharges, and resident transfers.
• Assist with clinical problem-solving and support the nursing team as needed.
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment.

Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor Responsibilities
