Job summary

Sippican Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Marion, MA is seeking a compassionate Weekend RN Supervisor to oversee resident care and nursing staff across weekend shifts. You will report to the Director of Nursing and ensure high-quality outcomes through effective supervision and teamwork.

The role requires MA RN licensure, a nursing degree, and at least 1 year of skilled nursing experience. Strong communication, leadership, and computer skills are essential to coordinate care and uphold

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered MA RN license.
Minimum 1 year of licensed nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Ability to communicate in English.
Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations in nursing care facilities.
Basic computer skills for patient condition relay.

Responsibilities

Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care, initiating corrective action as necessary.
Make resident rounds with a report to the Director of Nursing Service.
Conduct quality assurance and continuous quality improvement monitoring.
Establish open lines of communication between all nursing personnel, consistently taking follow-up action as necessary.
Counsel and discipline nursing personnel and recommend personnel action to the Director of Nursing Service as necessary.
Review residents admitted, comparing physician orders with each resident's plan of care to assure appropriate implementation.
Perform basic nursing skills with knowledge and competence.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
