Job summary

Sippican Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Marion, MA is seeking a compassionate Weekend RN Supervisor to oversee resident care and nursing staff across weekend shifts. You will report to the Director of Nursing and ensure high-quality outcomes through effective supervision and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care, initiating corrective action as necessary.

• Conduct quality assurance and continuous quality improvement monitoring.
• Establish open lines of communication between all nursing personnel, consistently taking follow-up action as necessary.
• Counsel and discipline nursing personnel and recommend personnel action to the Director of Nursing Service as necessary.
• Review residents admitted, comparing physician orders with each resident's plan of care to assure appropriate implementation.
• Perform basic nursing skills with knowledge and competence.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Weekend RN Supervisor at Sippican Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a renowned healthcare provider in Marion, MA. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, supervising nursing personnel, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care, initiating corrective action as necessary

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts
• Must possess a minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate from an approved RN program
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) in a skilled nursing facility
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Knowledge and understanding of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to relay information concerning patient conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff members
