Job summary

Alaris Health at Cedar Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ seeks an RN Weekend Supervisor to lead nursing services, translate the Center’s philosophy into a care system, and oversee clinical care planning and delivery to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include assessing residents on admission and as conditions change, conducting rounds, guiding daily nursing operations, communicating with shifts, and reporting to the Director of Nursing Services; NJ RN license and RN-BSN required.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license in good standing.
• RN-BSN is required.
• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1 year of nurse supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clinical care planning and delivery to coordinate quality patient care.
• Assesses residents on admission and as conditions change.
• Performs rounds to evaluate patient condition and deliver direct care when needed.
• Obtains and implements Physician Orders, ensuring accuracy.
• Communicates changes in resident condition between shifts.
• Provides clinical assessment to MD/NPs on call for quality outcomes.
• Ensures nursing staff perform duties per standards and reports to the Director of Nursing Services.
