Alaris Health at Cedar Grove is seeking an overnight Resident Nurse (RN) Supervisor to direct and coordinate all nursing units in a 190-bed skilled nursing center in Cedar Grove, NJ. The supervisor will staff shifts, lead rounds, and ensure each resident's care plan is followed with compassionate, high-quality service.

The role requires RN licensure in New Jersey, supervisory experience in long-term care, and strong knowledge of nursing theory, procedures, and medications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN registration in New Jersey.
• Experience in nursing with supervisory duties in long-term care.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, procedures, and medications.
• Ability to train and delegate staff.

Responsibilities

• Staff shifts to meet resident needs and levels.
• Maintain collaboration with charge nurses daily.
• Perform rounds to assess residents, especially critically ill.
• Ensure individualized care plans are understood and followed.
• Perform medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Orient and train nursing staff to develop skills.
• Respond to emergencies throughout the shift.
• Enforce safety protocols and review incidents for accuracy.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement programs.
• Provide compassionate care to residents and families.
