Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Jersey nursing license.
• Experience in nursing with supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and medications and their dosages.
• Ability to lead, train, and delegate staff; respond quickly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Staff shifts to meet resident levels and needs.
• Conduct morning and night rounds to assess residents, focusing on critical cases.
• Ensure care plans are understood and followed.
• Perform medication passes as needed.
• Orient and refresh nursing personnel to improve skills.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce safety protocols.
• Contribute to quality improvement program.
• Provide care with compassion emphasizing residents’ needs and rights.
