Job summary
Ocala Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support nursing staff during Saturday and Sunday shifts, 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a consistent weekend schedule and weekdays off.
The ideal candidate will oversee nursing operations, ensure high-quality resident care, address regulatory compliance, and guide RNs, LPNs and CNAs while collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain smooth weekend coverage.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the shift.
- Monitor resident care and conduct rounds for quality and compliance.
- Address clinical, staffing and operational concerns in real time.
- Assist with admissions, care coordination and clinical oversight.
- Provide guidance to RNs, LPNs and CNAs.
- Collaborate with Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as primary clinical leader during weekend operations.
