Job summary

Greene Point Health & Rehab seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day operations of licensed and unlicensed staff. You will admit, discharge, and transfer patients while ensuring smooth coordination with physicians and hospital transfers.

You’ll oversee care planning, supervise staff, and participate in committees and quality initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Active RN License to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Excellent supervisory and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing the day-to-day functions of the licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.
• Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested.
• Develops work assignments for unlicensed staff.
• Maintains effective communication with attending physicians and coordinates care planning.
• Monitors physician services and ensures compliance with current regulations.
• Provides education to staff on infection control, QA, and other programs.
