Yorktown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee medications, implement care plans, provide direct care when needed, manage documentation, and collaborate with the team to maintain safety and compliance.

This role requires Texas RN licensure, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to stay composed under pressure during busy

Qualifications

• Must be a Texas-licensed RN.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent documentation and assessment skills required.
• Ability to stay composed during emergencies and manage workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor med administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans follow policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders and physician follow-up.
