Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license; long-term care or geriatric experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of nursing and one year supervisory experience.
• Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately.
• Ability to organize programs and manage nursing personnel.
• Ability to direct the department and coordinate with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate nurses to maintain care standards and QA activities.
• Receive physician orders and ensure transmission to units as needed.
• Delegate nursing and therapeutic procedures to qualified staff.
• Make rounds to assess residents and document care and observations.
