Qualifications

• Associate's Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment; geriatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; follow oral and written instructions.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Makes decisions relevant to operation and management of the facility during the assigned shift.
• Verifies physician and family notification for significant clinical developments.
• Makes staffing decisions such as replacing call-outs, overtime, and reassignments.
• Assesses resident care and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Maintains confidentiality and ensures safety and infection control initiatives.
