Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Virginia is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead clinical operations on Saturday and Sunday, 7am–7pm. You will mentor staff, ensure care delivery, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to maintain staffing and quality of care.

You will recruit and orient new hires, participate in promotions and transfers, and ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulations across nursing units during the weekend shift.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Weekend availability on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct clinical operations of nursing units on the assigned weekend shift.
• Mentor staff and coordinate care delivery with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing and safe 24/7 care.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and recommendations for promotions and transfers.
