Job summary

Paycom's partner facility, Springtown Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Springtown, TX, is seeking a registered nurse supervisor for a day shift. The role oversees nursing services, ensures compliance with policies, and coordinates with resident services to maintain each resident's care plan.

Requirements include an RN license, a nursing degree or RN program completion, at least three years in long-term care with supervisory experience, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.

• Working knowledge of computers, including Internet, keyboard, and mouse navigation.

Responsibilities

Specific Requirements

• Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services staff assigned to you, and ensure their performance is aligned in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure the staff complies with the procedures set forth in the Nursing Services Procedures Manual.
• Ensure that staff performs the functions outlined in their respective job descriptions.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
• Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident’s total regimen of care is maintained.
• Interpret the department’s policies and procedures to the staff assigned to you, residents, visitors, and government agencies as required.
• Must clear the criminal background check, be in good standing with the Texas Misconduct Registry, and must not appear on the Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) List of Excluded Individuals/Entities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.

Experience

• At least three (3) years of nursing experience in long-term care is required. At least two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, including Internet, keyboard, and mouse navigation is required.
