Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking an RN for the Observation Medical Care Unit on a 0.6 FTE weekend schedule (7p-7:30a). You will provide direct nursing care per policies and coordinate with the interprofessional care team.

Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring care plans, communicating patient status, discharge planning, and patient education. Kentucky RN licensure and BLS within 45 days are required; an Associate degree or Nursing Diploma is required, with a BSN

Qualifications

• RN license in Kentucky or eligibility to practice in Kentucky.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 45 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with policies and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans and coordinates care across disciplines.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition; documents appropriately.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Adheres to Nurse Practice Act and organizational safety and reliability standards.
