Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies and protocols

• Coordinate care across disciplines for well-coordinated care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess discharge planning needs with patient/family and team
• Assess learning needs and provide age- and culture-appropriate education
• Comply with Nurse Practice Act
